La Brújula Vol. 50 is a commemorative edition that highlights the long-standing collaboration between the magazine’s editorial team and the students of Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. For this milestone volume, the design approach focused on giving the publication a cleaner, more rigorous aesthetic, elevating both its visual presentation and editorial quality. The result was a refined magazine that not only celebrated its history but also set a higher standard for future issues.
The cover featured the contribution of Giovanni Rodríguez, illustrator and professor at the Faculty of Design. His piece, Elastics and Puppets from the Patriots Series, created entirely through manual techniques, added an artisanal and expressive character to the edition. This collaboration underscored the magazine’s commitment to showcasing both professional artistry and academic creativity within a unified publication.
